Clothing hack
I just got my summer shirts. Yes it's December, yes they will sit in their bags for the next 5 months. But I just got 4 Columbia Men's Long Sleeve Fishing Shirts for $13 EACH that's less then 1/2 what they would cost in the spring. In the early summer I'll buy wool socks and winter boots at about 1/2 price.
This also means if my finances go wrong I have the next seasons cloths already and don't need to buy anything for at least 6 months.

My wife and I took on Xeriscape landscaping our back yard DYI.
God help us.
It has been a chore to be sure, when the weather is nice enough to work on it, I'm working 10-12 hour days at my Job, so it's taking longer then we hoped.
